What is a condominium or “condo”?
A condominium is a multi-family building where each unit is owned by an individual. Each owner holds title to the interior of a unit and shares ownership of the grounds, building exterior, parking area and other common areas.

What are the benefits of owning a condo?
Condo owners enjoy the financial benefits of owning a home, and reduced labor for its upkeep. The cost of maintenance is shared by condo owners (through their monthly payment of a Condominium Fee). Most chores related to maintenance – such as yard work and snow removal – are professionally done. You’ll never have to touch a rake or shovel!

What is a Home Owner’s Association?
A Home Owner’s Association is the legal, governing board of a condominium. It employs a property management company to manage and maintain the common areas of the property, and handles expenditures covered by the owners’ condominium fees.

Each homeowner is a voting member of the Quality Hill Square Condominium Home Owners’ Association. Members will elect a Board of Directors to oversee the use of funds for maintenance and management of the property.

At Quality Hill Square, the property management company is McCormack Baron Ragan.

What is a Condominium Fee?
A condominium fee is the monthly payment made by each owner to the Home Owners’ Association. Condo fees cover the cost of maintenance, repair, insurance and utilities used in the common areas, as well as water, sewer, trash and snow removal. At Quality Hill Square, condo owners’ property taxes are also covered by the condo fee.
